About Al Gurg Consultants

Al Gurg Consultants was founded in 1969 by three U.K. Firms of Consultants: Salmon Speed Associates Architects Campbell Reith & Partners Engineers Nigel Rose & Partners Quantity Surveyors The Firm was bought by Mr. Faisal Al Gurg, a Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic of the South Bank, England, from the original Partners in 1979 and named Joint Design Partnership (JDP). Since 1979 it is a wholly owned national company. In early 1989 the Company's name was changed to Al Gurg Consultants. The Firm had been associated in several projects in U.A.E. with the following International Firms:- a. M/s Ewbank International of U.K. (Now Mott MacDonald) b. M/s Watson Hawksley of U.K. (Now Montgomery Watson) c. M/s Mouchel Middle East of U.K. d. M/s Cowi-Al Moayed of Denmark e. M/s Weidleplan of Germany f. M/s German Water Engineering of Germany. The Firm is now associated with the following International Firms in several projects in Dubai: a. Thales Engineering of France. b. Jean Marie Charpentier and Associates of France. The Firm now employs more than 75 Professional Staff, whose wide experience in all fields of Architecture, Civil and Structural Engineering have considerably contributed to its growth and success. During the 33 years of existence, the annual value of projects handled by the Firm had increased from 30 Million Dirhams in 1969 to more than 1.2 Billion Dirhams in 2002. Al Gurg Consultants have a wide range of Clients, many of whom have favoured us with their continuing patronage over a period of years.
