DynCorp International has been appointed by Al Taif as the prime vendor to Al Taif, to provide management and technical expertise, processes and systems to meet the requirements of Al Taif in its vision to become the leading maintenance and repair center of excellence for the UAE and the region. DynCorp, a US-based firm, is a leading provider of technology and professional services solutions to government and the commercial industry worldwide. The company was selected following a detailed and rigorous evaluation process carried out by a team of specialized officers from Mubadala Development and the UAE Armed Forces. Other leading international service providers participated in this solicitation process. Al Taif is working very closely with the Armed Forces to establish a leading national defense support services capability that will focus on outsourced activities and sustainment programs to the UAE national forces and other major clients in the region. The company’s main objectives center on providing world class maintenance, repair, overhauling and upgrading services for all types of military and commercial vehicles, including fighting platforms, tankers, transporters, buses, trucks, earth moving equipment and 4X4 vehicles in addition to Electronic and optical equipment including fire control and aiming systems. It will also be active in the fields of training and research & development (R&D).
