Apparel LLC was started by Mr. Nilesh Ved in 1993. Starting with G2000 and Bossini, the company went on to bring prominent elite class brands to the GCC market. In 1999, the company opened the first Nine West store in Dubai at Lamcy Plaza. Today there are 19 Nine West stores in UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar, running successfully, growing in popularity with the upper classes as well as the upper-middle class population of various nationalities. Apparel LLC has also made its mark in India. 'Major Brands India Limited' was formed by the company to handle its foray in the Indian market . 'Mango', a leading women's clothes and accessories brand originating in Spain has been launched successfully. The first store has been opened in Mumbai and stores in other metros will soon follow. Nine West another Apparel LLC brand, will also be introduced in India by the company at a later date. Apparel LLC also has a sister concern 'BooksPlus'. This is a renowned chain of bookstores offering the latest titles and authors in all reading categories. It also stocks unique stationery for children and adults. Apparel LLC employs a strong sales staff of 300 at its stores and another 40 at its administrative office in Dubai.
