In the year of 1984, Batook Saudi Arabia is in a joint venture with Haitai of Korea contributing itself towards the food (confectionery) sector in the eastern province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Forming a company named "Batook Haitai chewing gum Ltd." producing sugared chewing gum in sticks and tablets. Late in the year 1990, this establishment was transformed under the name of "Batook chewing gum Ltd." thus absorbing the later and being fully Saudi owned. The factory is now equipped with installed capabilities for the production of 15,000 tons of chewing gum per annum. The processing lines for stick and coated chewing gum are sourced from internationally reputed companies. High-speed packaging lines are deployed to produce coated gum tablets and sticks gums, as well as for the over wrapping operations. The equipments are geared to produce stick packs presentation of other sizes too. Raw and packaging materials are also being imported from highly reputed sources within the international trading arena. Manufacturing is carried out under controlled atmospheric conditions in a hygienically clean environment. Strict quality control measures are being exercised on all materials at all stages of our manufacturing process. Our technicians are highly qualified, skilled and well experienced. After the year 1990, we focused our thoughts on boosting our production capacity, which was done in stages, thus enhancing our product range by introducing new innovations of sugared gum in numerous delicious flavors, in order to soothe the thirst for chewing gum lovers.
