Construction Materials Center Company WLL (COMETCO) was incorporated in 1982 with the main objective of supplying materials to diversified market segments in Kuwait with particular emphasis on the oil sector communication, (Ministry of Communication), water networks (Ministry of Electricity and Water), sanitary, drainage and road works (Ministry of Public Works), plumbing, heating, ventilation and fire-fighting (HVAC). The company has more than 26 exclusive agencies from leading manufacturers around the globe , & in addition a number of non-exclusive agencies. COMETCO has helped many medium and large size suppliers around the world not only to enter the Kuwait market, but also gain a sizeable market share. The primary business activities of COMETCO include the following :-  Import, stock and distribute Agency Products.  Obtain approvals for agency products to qualify for supply to Government projects and participate in tenders floated by various agencies in Kuwait.  Distribute products of our agencies to contractors undertaking turnkey projects and to retail outlets.  Re-export to neighboring countries.  Act as agents and assist foreign companies in establishing local offices in Kuwait and provide them legal and logistical support to further their business.  Offer sponsorships to construction companies and assist them in exploiting the business potential in Kuwait, provide them with information on laws, data bank on materials, sources and also help them bid effectively in tenders.
