This company is providing IT services to the clients like : Data Networking IP connectivities, Internet , e-mail help desk , and office automation services. The planning department is responsible for a major role in this company and the planning department responsibilities can be summarized in the following : - Coordinate with IT Planning for development of near to medium term strategic plans for data networks, desktops, and systems - Review/monitoring of new technologies and to be align with IT planning standards. - Recommend desktop, network, systems and application configurations for different types of users in coordination with IT Planning. - Coordinate development of RFPs and business cases. - Report status of projects periodically to the DN&S management - Process/follow-up on vendor payments - Control quality of solutions and services provided by the company. - Make sure to implement IT Policies and Procedures, processes - Responsible for implementing QC activities to all projects at key steps defined in procedures, during their implementation. - Monitor the Change Control and Handover processes within IT departments. - Conduct periodic network health checks and physical audit to the networ, systems, and desktop implementation projects. - Responsible for ensuring compliance with stated policies and procedures across DN&S, - Monitor all the documentations within the DNS and assure that in standards manner.
