About Deira International School

Deira International School (DIS) opened its doors in 2005 in Dubai. The school is owned by the Al Futtaim Group, one of the largest and most respected corporations in the lower Gulf Region, and managed by Educational Services Overseas Limited (ESOL), a leading organisation in the field of primary and secondary international education managing ten American and British schools spanning four countries and three continents. DIS provides a high quality British/international education to both expatriate and local children in Dubai within an atmosphere that is both sensitive to and consistent with UAE culture and tradition. It has quickly grown and progressed to become one of Dubai's most highly regarded British/international schools. The student body of above 1,450 pupils comprises more than 80 different nationalities.
