About Design Engineering Analysis Corporation

Design Engineering Analysis Corporation (DEAC) is a professional engineering consulting firm which serves industry in the application of computer-aided design, drafting, and analysis, and experimental testing. The principals of DEAC, Alan J. Errett, George J. Hrico, and Robert S. Joseph, have worked together as an engineering team for nearly two decades. This group of Professional Engineers, assisted by a top-notch in-house staff, has provided responsive, high-quality engineering services to a broad spectrum of industrial clients, governmental agencies, and research organizations. The DEAC team members have provided innovative solutions to complex engineering problems in the power, nuclear, aerospace, defense, petro-chemical, steel, transportation, textile, and construction industries. They have been highly successful in obtaining effective solutions to wide- ranging problems by applying engineering mechanics, finite element analysis methods, and/or testing to pressure components, mechanical equipment, structures, systems, processes, and concepts. The primary engineering software employed by DEAC is the ANSYS finite element program. ANSYS represents the state-of-the art in finite element technology, and is one of the most widely used and accepted finite element analysis codes in the world today. DEAC principals have utilized ANSYS since its initial release in 1970, and for many years enjoyed a close business relationship with the program's developer, Dr. John Swanson. DEAC also uses their portable, microprocessor-based SoMat data acquisition system for strain gage testing of both stationary and moving components, including rotating equipment. The DEAC principals have extensive experience in the management and performance of fixed price, time and materials, and cost plus fixed fee contracts. These projects have been performed for clients ranging from major corporations to small manufacturing companies.
