    Job Summary Directs, oversees, supervises, and manages development of master plans for the technical affairs, the needed engineering and design facilities, and construction execution while ensuring the adherence to environmental safety standards. Duties and Responsibilities Strategic and Executive Duties  Participates in formulating strategies, policies and objectives for the Technical Affairs Sector. Develops and executes comprehensive technical plans and programs, both short and long term, to achieve stated company's objectives. Monitors the Technical Affairs Sector performance against pre-set performance goals and ensure that preventive/corrective actions are taken accordingly. Sets the estimated budget for the Technical Affairs Sector, and monitoring the Sector's expenditures and financial performance. Disseminates instructions and circulars in addition to take administrative and technical decisions necessary to fulfill endorsed plans and executive programs. Technical Duties Supervises the development of technical plans and drawings for maintenance and ensures compliance with the corporate economic and strategic directions. Reviews costs incurred during maintenance and warehouse projects and provide technical input and feedback in order to amend deficiencies. Sets the main guidelines for studies, technical specifications and engineering designs for the company facilities. Reviews the scope of work and proposal analysis for maintenance and warehouse projects, and provides proposal review and analysis as well as other feedback to support the selection process. Provides the needed insight towards the development of requests for proposals, the evaluation of received bids, and monitors contractor/subcontractor performance on awarded projects. Ensures that the company’s environmental standards are applied in accordance with governmental regulations. Contributes in decision making of emergency corrective actions impacting environmental safety. Conducts periodic meetings with subordinates for reviewing progress and work flow, discusses their suggestions and taking suitable actions accordingly. Prepares periodic reports with respect to the Technical Affairs Sector activities and achievements to be submitted to the Vice President – Operations. Specifies manpower requirements according to recruitment and selection and human resources planning practices. Participates in determining training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of training courses in coordination with the concerned human resources personnel. Conducts performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices.

    Job Summary Manages the company’s Quality and Safety activities by developing standards to be utilized in order to achieve and sustain cost efficient measures and deliver quality of service and training. Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic and Executive Duties Participates in formulating strategies, policies and objectives for the Safety and Quality Sector. Develops and executes comprehensive technical plans and programs, both short and long term, to achieve stated company's objectives. Monitors the Safety and Quality Sector performance against pre-set performance goals and ensure that preventive/corrective actions are taken accordingly. Sets the estimated budget for the Safety and Quality Sector, and monitoring the Sector's expenditures and financial performance. Disseminates instructions and circulars in addition to take administrative and technical decisions necessary to fulfill endorsed plans and executive programs.
