FIKRA Research and Policy is a research institution, established in 2011 in Doha, engaged in economic and social policy research with relevance to Qatar and the region. With a diverse team that includes a mix of academic and practitioners as well as international and local expertise, FIKRA has been working on a number of research grants in partnership with academic institutes, think tanks and the public and private sectors in the following area: nationalization of labor markets, human resource in the health sector, sustainable energy policies, sustainable urban energy and transportation systems and the rule of law.

FIKRA’s mission is “to initiate and develop insightful policy research for Qatar and the region. This is done through partnering with academic institutes, NGOs, public and private sector institutions, and leveraging with local and international talent".
