About Hopes for Women in Education

Objective Our mission is to enhance and advance the level of education amongst women whom have been disadvantaged from continuing their post-secondary education due to their stateless, refuged, displaced, non-status nature, which has limited their ability to continue their post-secondary/university education. Project Outline Education is a right; indistinctive to gender, age, race, or economic means. Education enables intellectual growth, illuminates the mind, provides opportunities, creates critical thinkers, engages communities and fosters individual’s rights in a multitude of dimensions. As advocated in the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), in Article 10, there is a need to take appropriate measures to eliminate the discrimination against women towards pursuing and attaining an education. The advancement of women’s education flourishes within our community leaders, role models, activists, scholars, academics, political civil workers and successful unique individuals that opens a window of opportunities for these women to change their lives and the lives of others around them. Summary What: Financially assisting Palestinian Women towards continuing their Post-Secondary/ University Education, by providing full-scholarships towards both their Tuition Fees, including necessary daily expenses for the duration of their study period.
