Human Development Foundation North America (HDFNA) was established in 1997in Chicago, USA, when visionary and selfless Pakistani expatriates of USA realized the nedd of empowering the poor and deprived community of Pakistan. HDF Pakistan, affiliated with HDFNA, started its operations in 1999 from its Mardan Region. By now, it has spread to EIGHT (8) regions of Pakistan i.e. Mardan, Shamsabad (Tando Muhammad Khan), Rahim Yar Khan, Zhob, Karachi Kachi Abadi, Islamabad Rural Area, Lahore and Bugna Villages Complex (Muzaffarabad-AJK), having its National Office in ISLAMABAD. It is rendering its services through the interventions of Social Mobilization, Education, Health, Economic Development and Community Physical Infrastructure (Environment Sustainability). The mission of HDF is "..... to facilitate a non-political movement for positive soocial change and community empowerment through mass literacy, enhanced quality of education, universal primary health care and graasroots economic development".
