The Abudawood Group is one of the few pioneers in Saudi industry. It is the largest manufacturer of liquid bleach in Saudi Arabia and the Arab region. We manufacture and market “Clorox” the most widely used bleach worldwide, in addition to the many other household and institutional materials, used by millions in Saudi Arabia and many other countries. Safety and environmental concerns are very well taken care of during and after production operations. All exported brands are awarded the ISO 9002 certificate, and our bleach is the only brand in the region that carries the SASO (Saudi Arabian Standardization Organization) mark. Our history has been one of exciting growth. Our vision of the future is one of challenge and reward in continuing to produce the highest quality products which deliver superior consumer satisfaction in the Kingdom and abroad. Our story in the Kingdom started in the mid 1950’s, when Clorox was first imported from The USA. Demand grew steadily leading to the establishment of “Abudawood for Trade & Industry” production facilities in Jeddah in 1972, along with an annex to make the plastic containers. As a result of continued business expansion in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states we established a second manufacturing plant, “National Cleaning Products” in Dammam in 1983. In 1996, the Jeddah plant was relocated in an expansive state-of-the-art factory, where the latest manufacturing and quality management are applied. The group relies on strong managerial teams and employs skilled and qualified specialists and technicians. The work force consists of Saudis and expatriates. We have over 60% Saudization.
