    MECL has an extensive network of about 600 dealers, about 45 fully owned showrooms, and 15 service centers spread throughout the Kingdom. New Sony World Showrooms with "Digital Themes" are currently being established to promote Sony''''''''s strategy of converging Sony with digital products.

    Supervising the implementation of Policies, Goals and Strategies: • Supervising the implementation of the division's/ department's plans, as well as ensuring their compliance with company's rules and policies• Developing division's/ department's work plan; assigning work activities, projects and programs, monitoring work flow, reviewing and evaluating work methods and procedures, and directing such activities to serve division's/ department's goals and plans• Proposing plans and programs that boost the effectiveness of the division/ department• Ensuring that instructions, circulars and organizational and technical decisions are followed and applied• Ensuring that work activities are carried out according to the pre-set performance goals, and suggesting any necessary actions to the General Manager Sales &Marketing.• Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates to follow up smooth running of activities and keeping abreast with latest business-related practices   Executive and Technical Duties: • Developing and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate regional corporate goals• Directing sales forecasting activities and sets performance regional goals accordingly• Reviewing market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.• Directing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control regional sales programs• Directing channel development activity and coordinating sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.• Advising supervisors, trainers and salesmen concerning sales and advertising techniques• Analyzing sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.• Directing product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line• Representing Sony at trade association meetings to promote products• Delivering sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales supervisors• Meeting with key clients, assisting sales supervisors with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals• Coordinating relation between sales department and other sales related units• Analyzing and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements• Assisting other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.• Preparing periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion, and reporting these reports to the Kingdom Sales Manager• Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition• Recommending or approves budget, expenditures, and appropriations for research and development work   General Administrative Duties:   • Preparing periodic reports with respect to the division's/ department's activities and achievements to be submitted to the General Manager Sales &Marketing• Specifying manpower requirements for the division/ department according to the recruitment and selection and human resources planning practices• Recommending training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of training courses in coordination with the concerned human resources personnel• Following-up on employee administrative affairs such as: vacations, leaves …etc• Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices• Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibilities of the position whenever the need arises• Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the General Manager Sales &Marketing
