The Qassim Cement Company is a Joint Stock Company established in Shaban 15th 1396 H ( August 9th 1976 G ) with an initial fully paid capital of SR. 300 Millions raised to SR. 450 Millions in 1994. The plant has two production lines with a capacity of 4,700 ton clinker per day ( 4,900 ton of cement both normal Portland type 1 & Sulphate resistant type 5 ). The total revenues per year amount to SR. 300 Millions. The total work force is 550 persons. It is located in Buraydah City, the capital of Al-Qassim Province, about 300 Kilometers North of Riyadh.
