    About Your Job::
    The Lead Hygiene Officer would direct professional Hygienists completing or overseeing a variety of investigative, inspection, and consultative assignments to prevent occupational diseases and protect and improve the health, work and living environment (staff accommodation).  Operational * The role is expected to prepare policies and procedures to ensure that Hygiene levels are maintained with the highest degree of quality as per Qatar Airways standards. * Responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the housekeeping of Qatar Airways Properties. * The role would be actively involved in preparation of Contracts, review existing contracts, etc. High level of operational understanding and preparation of Scope of work (SOW) would be a critical element of the job. * Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees. * Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques. * Identifies staff development and ensure proper training is conducted. * Ensures proper labour relations and conditions of employment are maintained. * Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work. * Reviews reports covering findings, propose corrective measures, and compliance with health rules and standards. * Interprets rules and regulations to senior management and provide valuable opinion. * Develops regulations, rules and manuals governing the use of; regulate the disposal, procurement, storage, transportation, of contaminants. * Directs special assignments concerned with occupational health hazards, including health emergencies and special investigations. * Determines Hygiene program needs and undertake measures for program execution & completion. * Ensure and conduct random hygiene checks and pre-event inspections of all rooms * To prepare schedule for general Hygiene inspection to ensure that the apartments are in good condition as per Qatar Airways standards. * Actively participate in contract preparation for all Hygiene related contracts. This includes but not limited to preparation of scope of work, sending out purchase enquiry, raising RFQ/RFT, complete technical issuance, set up of Technical evaluation criteria, contract preparation, etc * Directs and participates in studies of health & hygiene. Ensure all workers are briefed about health and safety whilst ensuring hygiene related operations are carried out. * Participates in educational programs to bring about the acceptance of corrective measures * Recruit, schedule and train all new housekeeping staff members. * Responsible to ensure Service Provider complies with contractual agreements. * Implement Quality Control System through daily inspections schedules and unplanned checks
    About You ::
    You should hold Bachelor Degree or equivalent with minimum 5 years of job-related experience. A Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management or Housekeeping will be preferred along with the experience in Hotel or Hospitality industry. Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook is essential.  We are looking for someone who has thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of hygiene, training and supervisory techniques and employee policies and procedures. You should have experience in managing a team of housekeeping employees through motivation, coaching and development. You should have working knowledge of rooms' management systems and an advanced knowledge of Housekeeping process and procedures. Ability to prepare technical reports is also essential for this role.

    About Your Job: In this role you will plan, organise and monitor all maintenance activities to ensure smooth running of the buildings/facilities at multiple location and ensure they are properly maintained in accordance with maintenance best practices in a cost effective and timely manner.  Operational * Makes periodic inspections of assigned facilities to determine condition; prepare building inspection reports, diagnose problems and initiates necessary action to optimize the life span and operational reliability to ensure that the facilities are properly maintained in accordance with the best engineering practices * Communicate maintenance related issues to landlord and ensure the work is completed within set QR timelines and standards * Inspects all completed maintenance related works, assures that work is completed as per the scope of work and signs off on the completion certificate * Assign the maintenance manager in drafting detailed scope of work for plumbing, electrical and HVAC components of the project * Respond to emergency situations such as Fire, Power & AC failure, activation of fire alarms or any other major issues on 24/7 days a week basis. Plan contingency plans to deal efficiently with such emergencies * Plan and administer the work of contracted staff on all projects, including assigning work and reviewing and evaluating work in progress * Review request for service, determine whether the problem can be resolved through in-house resources, set priorities/timelines, communicate the timelines to customer and accordingly execute the job * Plan labour and material needs for designated maintenance and repair jobs to ensure adequate materials and equipment are available to carry out scheduled / unscheduled maintenance tasks; * Maintain daily records regarding manpower, materials and equipment usage * Develops and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all mechanical equipment. * Organizes manufactures' suggested systems and parts checks on all facility equipment into an ongoing preventative specialized equipment's * Maintain emergency standby for all power, fire & safety equipment's and perform weekly testing on all emergency generators * Oversee and participate in the preventative maintenance and monitoring of the operation of HVAC units. * Maintain data relating to temperature, humidity and time of day for performance monitoring. * Close monitoring of critical equipment - UPS, Generator, IT Switch rooms, Fire pump rooms and ensure that the machines are in healthy condition * Develop checklist for regular inspection by FM provider on MEP, HVAC and Fire systems   Operational Safety * Responsible to ensure that employees at all levels understand work health and safety requirements and expectations through provision of relevant QR Group induction, information, instruction, training and supervision. * Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operation to assure employee safety, security, legislative compliance and delivery of high quality service with a responsible environmental attitude. * Ensure that all managers and supervisors understand work health and safety requirements and expectations to the extent that they can pass on relevant information, identify training needs and provide appropriate supervision in their workplace.Take a direct and personal interest in reported injuries, incidents, near misses and hazards to ensure that appropriate reporting, investigation and response is being achieved.
