The foundations of the Islamic Bank of Qatar in 1982 AD, as a financial and banking country was aimed at providing banking services and investment in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia. And thus realize the benefits fair for all dealers with the bank from shareholders and depositors and investors, and contribute to the building and development of the national economy, employing the slogan (Partners in the National Renaissance). The bank started its activities to the public on the 7th of July 1983 and was able to occupy an important place in the banking market locally, regionally and internationally.
