About Qatar Roadside Assistance Service

QRAS is a new subsidiary of Qatar Technical Inspection Company (QTIC - the only company licensed by the Traffic Department under the Ministry of Interior to conduct inspection of light and heavy vehicles). QRAS has been set-up to provide emergency roadside assistance to customers whose motor vehicle has broken down or been involved in a road traffic accident. Customers can purchase this service directly from QRAS for an annual fee or customers obtain the service when purchasing a new vehicle from auto dealers in Qatar. Whenever assistance is required customers contact the 24/7 QRAS call centre. The call centre team record incident details on the tailor-made computer system and GPS technology is utilised to quickly dispatch the nearest mobile workshop (Roadside Patrol Van). If the motor vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside by the highly trained mechanics equipped with the latest technology, then it is transported to a garage workshop by dedicated QRAS vehicle recovery trucks. Customers are also provided with transport to get them to their destination. The QRAS service combines unrivalled customer service, highly trained staff and hi-tech mobile workshops providing roadside vehicle repair and vehicle recovery services 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
