    To develop, administer and enhance application’s performance through ensuring the continuous availability of the application’s databases and to monitor the growth of data bases. Essential Duties (Major responsibilities of this position) Percentage of Total Time • To ensure the high availability, security and scalability of the Oracle Database and application• Oracle advanced technology such as RAC, Data guard implementation and maintenance• Database performance tuning for optimum utilization• Database and application security tuning and maintain audit logs • To provide application functional support to SHL business users• Ensure the report server and it’s related services are up and running• Defines any development or customization needs • Clones of Oracle database server• Liaise with vendor to assure enhancements and upgrades are applied on applications and databases.• Apply and executes applications maintenance and change request• Creates and maintains development, test, and production environments.• Backs up Oracle Database at logical and physical level.• Develops and enforces disaster recovery policies and procedures.• Conducts analysis of the business requirements in terms of applications and database architecture.• Assures that the requirements are fully documented • Reviews and checks applications performance and fine-tune it accordingly.• Identifies and applies best practices in solving applications problems. • Monitors and maintains applications/databases availability for SHL operation.• Allocates system database storage and plans future storage growth requirements for the database.• Ensures daily backup of applications and Oracle Database.• Installs and administers the application’s operating system in order to ensure application continuity and space availability. • Creates users accounts and grants access in accordance with the company’s authority matrix.• Implements Patch management on Oracle Database to resolve bugs and to deploy new features of the Oracle Application• Implements data recovery system (i.e. RMAN) • Supports implementation of applications in terms of installation and configuration of applications and databases.• Supports the developers and consultants to solve problems related to the applications/databases.

    • Coordinate  and resolve all complex ULS application issues.• Provide additional functionality to the business by develop reports • Work with the Business Unit Leader and other personnel to identify and implement services and solutions • Prepares routine reports (financial, customer service, operational efficiency, etc.). • Defines, develops and implements end user test scenarios• Provide first line support for issues related to application and platform• Administer applications, identify weakness and recommend enhancement.• Assist User and provide operational and end user support. • Setting up of master files and function locations, importing the relevant data• Pre and Post implementation support and providing training to end users• Eligibility criteria’s based upon DBR, LTV• Score cards based on customer profile• TIER based rates and charges for particular products• Workflow, Schemes and Campaigns• Defining approval hierarchy and configuring deviations• Document checklist• Defining User hierarchy, Roles and locations. Mapping product / schemes for a particular or general location• Capturing Payments• Re-Scheduling & Re-Structuring of loans• Foreclosure• Lump sum / Part Payments• Accounting Summary• Deferring Loans• Interfacing with Simah, Sadad, Yakeen, DD & SA.• Skip trace Management• Configuring delinquency buckets• NPA provisioning• Follow Up provisioning• Defining Collection agencies• Mapping Incentives for collection agents• Legal and litigation workflows• Police complaints issuance• Involved in development and bug fixing• Customizing our base product according to bank’s requirement during development• Gathering requirement from the Business & Onsite team• Preparing test cases and performing unit test on the application • Configuration parameters and Security
