About SAUDI SKILLS STANDARDS

The company established to provide attractive, high-quality jobs for Saudi Nationals since it is one of the most important priorities for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Getting more young people – male and female – into high quality Technical and Vocational Training is the single most important factor for success in the labor market. Today, less than 10% of the Saudi workforce takes part in Technical and Vocational Training. If we want to catch up with countries in the developed world, we need to increase this number to 43%. The Kingdom will do this over the next 8 years by a massive expansion of colleges and college places. But simply increasing the number of young people in training is not enough. We need to make sure the training is high quality – designed and delivered to meet the needs of employers.
