TALEX – Taweelah Aluminium Extrusion Company LLC is the first aluminium downstream project to be established in Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD). Established on May 2011, TALEX, a joint venture between SENAAT and Gulf Extrusions part of Al Ghurair Group of Companies, was set up to produce extruded aluminium and aluminum extrusion based-products for regional and international markets. TALEX’s world-class facility will be built on a 200,000 sqm plot of land adjacent to Emirates Aluminum (EMAL) aluminium smelter, and will hence be the first project on the Hot Metal Road to receive liquid metal from EMAL. The total expected investment is approximately US$ 200 million with an estimated capacity of 50,000 Tons Per Annum (TPA).
