The Orthodox Educational Society (OES) is a pioneer non-profit institution that operates and manages schools and kindergartens, established in 1957. We currently manage several distinguished educational institutions (The National Orthodox School- Shmaisani, The National Orthodox School -Ashrafieh, Wahbeh Tamari kindergarten – Shmaisani, and The National Orthodox kindergarten -Ashrafieh) and we serve more than 3000 students in both National and International programs. OES provides financial aid and tuition waivers for their students who are from limited-income families. We also provide financial and in-kind aid to many families through our charity campaigns. جمعية الثقافة والتعليم الأرثوذكسية هي مؤسسة رائدة في مجال إدارة المدارس ورياض الأطفال تأسست عام 1957. الجمعية تدير حالياً عدة مؤسسات تعليمية متميزة (المدرسة الوطنية الأرثوذكسية- الشميساني، المدرسة الوطنية الأرثوذكسية- الأشرفية، روضة وهبة تماري - الشميساني ، وروضة الأرثوذكسية الوطنية – الأشرفية) وهي تضم أكثر من 3000 طالب وطالبة ضمن مناهجها التعليمية الوطنية والدولية. تقدم الجمعية مساعدات مالية وإعفاءات من الرسوم الدراسية للعديد من طلابها ذوي العائلات محدودة الدخل، كما تقدم مساعدات مالية وعينية للعائلات من خلال حملاتها الخيرية
OES vision is to serve the community and help its progress through education and training, cultural awareness and provision of social and humanitarian services which promotes virtue and high moral values, especially love, humbleness, honesty, justice, equality, compassion, diligence, solidarity and fellowship among all.
OES aspires to prepare enlightened generations of youth from all segments of society, who believe in God and are loyal to their country, loving towards others, well-educated and guided by solid values and noble human virtues.
