The Vegetable Oil Industries Company Producer of Quality Ghee and Vegetables Oils The Vegetable Oil Industries Company is the oldest oil manufacturing company in the Arab World, established in Nablus – Palestine in 1953. In 1962 the company converted its production line to refining palm oil rather than olive oil and cottonseeds. In the mid eighties, the company started refining corn oil. Today, the Company produces quality vegetable ghee and oils (corn, soybean, sunflower and palm). The production is based on the latest modern methods and the company’s old traditional recipes. Alghazal Vegetable Ghee became a symbol of quality over the years. Products are exported to almost all the Arab Countries. In 2000, the company started the production of Halawa, an Arabic delicacy from sesame seeds under brand name Alghazalain.
