The Group’s origin dates back to 1986 when Sheikh Tariq Bin Kayed Al Qassimi returned to Ras Al Khaimah after graduating as an Engineer from the University of Arizona, United States of America and entered into business and started Union Shipping Agencies. Over the years, Union Group has grown substantially and today has diversified business interests ranging from Shipping to Construction and Trading to Travel. The office of the Chairman and the Head office of the Group, located in Ras Al Khaimah, controls Group operations. The Group has earned many laurels and is considered a pioneer and leader in certain areas.
