About United Nations Development Programme

UNDP with offices in 132 countries is the principal provider of development advice, advocacy and technical cooperation of the United Nations. The UNDP Office in Riyadh Saudi Arabia was established in 1961 and has implemented since then a large number of technical cooperation projects with the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Depending on national priorities and needs, these projects cover wide range sustainable development issues such as strategic socio-economic planning, environmental conservation, trade, investment promotion, information technology, public sector reforms, etc. UNDP also promote exchange of experience between developed and developing countries at the individual and instructional levels
