Universal Metal Coating Company Limited -UNICOIL is the first Saudi Company to manufacture pre-painted steel products in Saudi Arabia and the largest producer of pre-painted steel in the Middle East. The Company is owned equally by A.H. Al-Zamil and Rashed Al-Rashed Group of Companies. These companies bring together a unique partnership of skills and market position into UNICOIL making it an extraordinary company dedicated to the manufacture of quality pre-painted products in the Middle East. UNICOIL is located in the Industrial Park of Jubail, the industrial heartland of Saudi Arabia. It has an installed capacity of 120,000 MT per annum, capable of painting the full range of coil strip products such as galvanized steel, zinc-coated steel, aluminium and cold rolled steel. UNICOIL began trial production in December 1997, with commercial quantities being produced by May 1998. Today it is a market leader in Middle East in supplying pre-painted steel and aluminium to the Pre-Engineered Buildings sector, Roll-formers, Doors Manufacturers, Lighting Fixtures, Sandwich Panel, Refrigeration / Cold Stores etc. Also a Slitting/Cut-to-length line and Strippable film application unit is installed in order to provide full service to its customer requirements. While at home UNICOIL has reduced the dependence on imported material, in the export market it has established its name in the GCC countries, Africa, Europe, Asia and Far East. From market competition point of view, UNICOIL is recognized as a major producer of high quality products of pre-painted metal coils. UNICOIL has distinguished brands which are internationally registered trademarks of Molawan®, ColoRite® and Colorbond®. Also, UNICOIL achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification for manufacturing of pre-painted metal coils in March 2003 and a frequent member of European Coil Coating Association (ECCA).
