About ADNOC Offshore

ZADCO was established in 1977 to develop and operate the Upper Zakum Field, one of the largest oil fields in the world, on behalf of ADNOC and Japan Oil Development Company (JODCO). The development of the Upper Zakum reservoirs is considered to be one of the major technical achievements in Abu Dhabi. Besides Upper Zakum, the company currently operates Umm Al Dalkh, and Satah fields. Crude oil from Upper Zakum, Umm Al Dalkh and Satah field is pumped via main oil lines to Zirku Island for further processing, storage and to be exported. The company adopts the latest technologies in developing and operating these oil fields, with health, safety and environment concerns in mind, making it one of the leading operating companies in the oil industry in the U.A.E.
