ZXC Group started its activities in 1980 in Lebanon (as Arab Universal) and continued its expansion in 1997 by acquiring (Strikers). In 1998 it achieved a capital increase and a new shareholders structure representing prime investment groups and leaders in the financial and insurance sectors in the Middle East: Al Azizia Commercial Investment, Méditerranée Investors Group, Saudi Oger Ltd, and Lutfi F. El-Zein. In the gulf, ZXC, already incorporated in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 1995 and operating mainly in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia joined at the same date (1998) the new shareholders structure and continued its expansion asserting a leading position in this promising market and acquiring in the way ARK insurance Company and Medical Express. With the backing of its shareholders, ZXC consolidated its activities through successive acquisitions and mergers to provide a comprehensive range of insurance and reinsurance products and services of the highest standard and reliability; thus creating a well balanced structure operating in the following fields: Insurance and reinsurance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Gulf countries and Lebanon. Reinsurance placement in the United Kingdom and risk management for its clients in the Middle East. Third party administration (management services) in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia.
