Planning and Budgeting Controller Job - Qatar District Cooling Company

Job Objective

Responsible for generating the a reguler monthly financial reports of Qatar Cool and subsidiaries. Responsible for monitoring the budget and providing variance analysis thereof on monthly basis

Responsibilities

Review the regular monthly reports prepared by the Junior Accountant (i.e. financial statements, fund availability, production and capacity reports) for Qatar Cool and subsidiaries.
 Supervising the Accounting activities of Qatar Cool Subsidiaries
Compare the Actual Financial performance of the organization against the budget, investigate the reasons for the variances and reports to CFO and Financial Analyst
Receive the budget estimates from all departments and review for accuracy and completeness.
Consolidate the departmental budgets into a Corporate Budget for the year for endorsement and final approval by senior management.
Ongoing Amendments to the yearly budget in order to produce forecast reports every quarter.
Check the Purchase Requisitions and Orders to insure that supporting documentation is adequate, the account allocation is accurate and the planned expenditure is within budget.
Coach and mentor junior team member to develop their skills and ensure continuous people development.
