About the Job:

We are recruiting a Senior Visual Merchandising Manager to maximise sales through aspirational visual merchandising standards and techniques and to implement ESPRIT global branding guidelines and to maintain a consistent brand image across MENA.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Understanding of the ESPRIT brand and ensure it is consistently executed to the highest standards and protected at all times.
- Analysis of competitor activity
- Enhance organizational sales through effective store design and layout in accordance with any running campaigns or promotions.
- Drive seasonal sales by preparing attractive festive promotion campaigns in conjunction with marketing, operations, and visual merchandising team and in accordance with the ESPRIT guidelines.
- Maintain responsiveness to changes in shop floor sales by way of design/redesign of store based on sales figures
- Provide assistance and sourcing merchandise as per the plans laid down by the merchandisers and inputs provided by the team.
- Ensure minimization of costs by effective allocation of budgets for visual merchandising at each store.
- Ensure maintenance of optimum level of VM inventory and availability of fixtures.
- Work with the Commercial team to develop and implement a strategic visual plan.
- Regularly visit stores to assess and drive improvements in visual standards by conducting periodic internal audits and establishing adequate monitoring mechanisms.
- Access and utilise key business information frequently including space proportionality, bestsellers, promotional activity etc. and taking appropriate action at stores.
- Use knowledge and understanding of styling trends & store specific customer profiles to drive sales.
- Work with the Buying teams to ensure the correct stock is purchased to achieve appropriate and effective styling & displays within stores.
- Regularly liaise with UK international teams across various functions including Buying, Marketing, Store Design & Retail Teams.
- Develop & implement an effective visual training strategy.
- Coach the VM team to deliver excellent brand standards and excellent levels of customer service throughout all stores.
- Manage people resources to meet business needs.
- Implement people policies & processes, i.e. recruitment, performance management & setting structures
- Plan & manage new store openings & upgrades.
- Manage all budgets effectively.
- The role will also require you to be flexible with your days and times to meet the opening hours and 7 day nature of retail.

About the Job:

The Retail Allocator maximizes sales and profitability by maintaining correct stock levels by store, analyzes and communicates location performance, including sales/inventory ratios, turnover, seasonality, size demographics, and marketing impacts, and develops store/department distribution strategies that capture the identified location-based opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Performance Analysis:
- Collaborates with cross-functional team to define ownership and manages replenishment.
- Works with cross-functional team to ensure timely and accurate execution of new store assortments and quantities.
- Develops performance reports to determine appropriate allocation for maximum results.
- Develops in store stock analysis by size for key classifications. First priority is denim, as it is a company high focus area.
- Reviews performance to determine appropriate allocation for maximum results.
- Communicates out-of-stock concerns to the Buying and Planning teams.

Performance and Financial Goals Achievement:
- Ensures timely and accurate execution of new store assortments as well as initial distributions and replenishment for existing locations.
- Maintains correct stock levels by store.
- Meets or exceeds sales, gross margin and inventory turn goals.
- Analyzes and communicates location performance, including sales/inventory comparisons, seasonality and marketing impacts.
- Develops departmental distribution strategies to capture location-based opportunities through quantifying volume and profit opportunities analysis.
- Follows product from receipt at the Distribution Center, to point of allocation and complete receipt at store level. This is most important at floor set time periods.

Field Communication
- Participates in weekly cross-functional meetings to share information on current business issues
- Develops knowledge of regional variances and store attributes and trends through data analysis and field communication.
- Develops effective field relationships to capture location opportunities and / or liabilities.
