Duties and Responsibilities in Details

•Releasing all approved employees salaries and allowances in coordination with concerned entities and the Human Resources Department.
• Supervising the expenses budget in coordination with the applied cash management policy
• Managing and supervising the day-to-day activities of the department both in Head Office and the regions; which cover all related activities of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, to ensure smooth operations and accurate records.
• Managing and supervising Finance & Control activities including cash flow management and treasury operations, bank reconciliation, contracts, cost control, and coordination with credit control.
• Coordinating and communicating with various inter-company departments, Group’s intra-companies, local & foreign suppliers, banks, Group Finance, and internal & external auditors.
• Performing month-end and year-end activities and preparation of complete sets of the financial statements with supporting notes and analysis.
• Preparation of management reports including profitability reports and cost analysis.
• Preparation of yearly budgets.
• Planning and controlling activities, tasks, projects to ensure timely closing and submission of required reports and assignments.

Overview:

The PARC Coordinator is responsible for the management of the DRC’s Protection, Assistance and Re-integration Centres (PARCs) network in Iraq (PARCs in Kerbala, Wassit and, to a lesser extent, Diyala) established within the UNHCR-funded PARC project component, under the supervision of the Project Manager for Protection (PM), in accordance with the organization’s mandate, priorities and donor agreement.

Key duties and responsibilities:

 Lead on the drafting of the PARC work plans and timely coordinate the operations as per the plan;
 Provide a daily technical support to the PARC teams;
 Centralize the correspondence related to the PARC activities and act as a focal point for the PARC vis-a-vis the external stakeholders;
 Undertake periodic review of each PARC performance (operations and staff) and submit the recommendations to the line management;
 Monitor technical challenges faced by the PARC teams and report to the line management;
 Maintain knowledge of local laws and other government directives relating the groups of concerns and the NGO activity and presence.

- Suggesting and implementing improvements to PARC-related monitoring and evaluation schemes.

 Representation:
- Developing and maintaining working relations with relevant UN agencies and other inter-, intra- and non-governmental organizations in the area of responsibility with the view to integrate DRC’s activities into comprehensive protection approaches in the area;

Sr. Accountant Job - World Class A commercial vehicles

Duties:
• Develop and monitor objectives, operational plans and procedures of Accounting Unit.
• handling daily work of Accounting Unit and ensure achievement of Finance department goals.
• Supervise and monitor the accounting activities and ensure that the accounting functions capture all business transactions.
• Maintain accounting records of the company and ensuring that accounting transactions are processed properly in the accounting system.
• Review all general ledger account balances, monthly financial statements including the monthly trial balance, income and expenditure statements and the balance sheet.
• Handling the cash section; efficient follow up on receivables; review Bank Reconciliation statement, ensure sufficient funds available; efficiently proposed investing surplus funds.
• Calculate and prepare reimbursement billings and tracks receivables; reconciling monthly accounts receivable.
• Manage and review schedules for audit, assist in the audit functions with the external and internal auditors and ensure that adequate internal controls are in place and functioning as desired.
• Administer insurance policies and claims.
• Prepare guarantees / bonds, support projects with financial information and LC negotiation.
• Following LC transactions up to closing.
• Prepare payroll, staff allowances reports and monthly salary payments.
• Supervising petty cash, receiving bills, check balances, verify signatures and get approvals.
• Prepare Monthly Profit and Loss accounts and Balance Sheets.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including distributing monthly revenue and expenditure reports to management.
• Comply with the established policies and procedures and rules of operations.
• Any other tasks and duties from similar nature, level, or assigned by the Direct Manager.
