Job Description

Key Role:
Apply specialized skills and experience in support of infrastructure development for complex railways projects. Manage the delivery for projects related to high-speed rail from planning through construction. Oversee the negotiation of contracts, operating budgets, financial terms and conditions of contracts, and program review sessions with clients. Coordinate and work with client management and technical teams. Conduct interviews and research and analyze data related to the railway transportation environment. Develop recommendations and participate in strategy implementation activities and other courses of action, applying appropriate methods and leveraging firm resources to bring optimum solutions to clients. This position is located in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, or Qatar.

Skills

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with transportation planning or transportation infrastructure construction management
-5+ years of experience with consulting
-Experience with rail economic and feasibility analysis
-Experience with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
-Experience with rail policies, standards, and regulations development and emergency and continuity planning
-Knowledge of and respect for local cultures, communication styles, and etiquette
-Knowledge of and respect for local government operating styles and processes
-BA or BS degree in an Engineering or Transportation field, especially related to Railway Transportation

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with working in a large professional consulting firm
-Experience with large-scale infrastructure and rail programs in the Middle East
-Ability to show fluency in the Arabic language
-Possession of excellent oral and written presentation skills
-MA or MS degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
