2D Interior Design Draughtsman/Detailer
Amana Group

We are looking for a highly experienced 2D designer that is very comfortable working within the interior field and who can achieve the following:

Ensures the timely development of detailed drawings for interior work execution

Coordinates with the site execution team to ensure the detail drawings production is in line with the execution parameters provided on site

Applies and develops the company drawing production standards in line with the design quality control guidelines and objectives.

Verifies and understands information and sketches prior to starting drawings

Prepares preliminary drawings for the Business Development and Estimation function

Attends to the instructions for the drafting work by the Design Manager

Assists in the checking of compatibility between the Interior architectural, civil, MEP drawings and designs

Checks drawings of subcontractors (including Joinery and MEP) and coordinates with them to issue error-free drawings

Carries out site visits when needed

Ensures only “issued for construction” drawings are sent to the construction function

Files finished drawings (electronically on the server as well as hard copies in the hanger) as per the Engineering function policy

Updates the drawings library as needed

Education

min 2 years diploma in Architectura/Interior Design
