Senior Systems Implementation Manager
Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre

- Oversee the design and implementation of active projects
- Manage the day-to-day implementation for a portfolio of active projects
- Develop implementation plan for future and active projects
- Define and develop technical specifications
- Define and develop systems architectures
- Manage the delivery and transition of implementation projects to operations
- Manage vendors and ensure timely deliverables
- Coordinate design and implementation activities with ADGEs
- Support ADSIC’s PMO with project status and reports
- Mentor and lead junior staff

Skills

- 10-15 years experience ideally in managing and coordinating large-scale projects, preferably within government
- 3-5 staff years leadership experience
- Experience working with government entities
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi government landscape preferable
- Proven track-record of managing large scale projects that involve multiple organizations and stakeholders
- Excellent network within the relevant industry / government sectors
- Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi specific environment preferable
- General overview regarding legal requirements (IT, HR, Finance, etc.)
- Excellent oral and written English, Arabic is an advantage
- Ability to deal with strategic and operational decisions simultaneously and to build effective working relationships with government stakeholders and employees
- Excellent organization as well as communication, analytical and social skills
- Strong management skills and experience in liaising effectively with other divisions; proven track record of development and management of SLAs
- Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Project Professional
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
