Instrument Engineer - Qatar based

The instrument engineer shall:

1. Supervise in the design office, designer draftsmen, site supervisors and other construction staff assigned to installation work.

2. Co-ordinate all instrument, testing and maintenance activities.

3. Carry out estimation of electrical and / or instrumentation costs on various project bids by the company.

4. Prepare project planning, construction and manpower schedule on major projects. Prepare work on site for site supervisors.

5. Review Quality System Procedures / Engineering Department Procedures on a regular basis and update, whenever required.

6. Reports to the Project Manager.

Skills

1. 3 to 5 years experience in design, detailed engineering, installation and commissioning of process control instrument in oil / gas / petrochemical / other process industries.

2. Excellent knowledge of international standards, codes and practices related to Instrument System Engineering in oil and gas.

3. Degree\Diploma in Instrument engineering

4. Good oral and communication skills in English

5. International mobility

Preferred skills
1. Proficiency in French and Arabic
