Job description:

Handling of department work force, inclusive of technicians and helpers;
Assign daily task responsibilities to the technicians and labours,
Monitor the work progress and prepare reports for the projects for onward submission to customers/department purpose;
Reports directly to the Project Manager.

Skills

Required skills to apply:

5 years experience in supervising role, involving liaison with client in telecom industry;
Essential knowledge of fiber optics cabling and systems including OTDR/Optical Power Meter testing;
Should be able to understand network drawings, including live and stumped fibers.
Understand the requirements of customers and troubleshoot the associated problems;
Knowledge of structured cabling and testing of the same. Handling of Cat 5/6/6a category cables and systems;
ODF and Rack fixing.
Electronics and Telecom Diploma, or equivalent
Fluent in English

Preferred skills:

Working knowledge of EPABX / CCTV / wireless system installations;
Experience in the Middle East
Speaking French
Gulf driving license
