Goals/Mission:
Interrelationship between customers & company related to working progress in issuing invoices and approvals, process
ETHS management, customers.


Working Partners/Contacts:
ETHS management, customers, and corporate units.


Tasks:
- Cost engineering functions encompassing estimating, cost control, budget preparations, forecasting, cost reporting.
- Interpret contract, manage financial risk, estimating and forecasting.
- Maintain current cost control database.
- Review proposed schedule changes with construction personnel, client and contractors.
- Support Project Control Manager on ad hoc assignment.
- Prepare screening (conceptual) cost estimates from limited information at the early stages of basic design for project gate decisions.
- Prepare detailed (classified) cost estimates from process design specifications direct material and labor costs Indirect costs.
- Present estimates to business teams and management.
- Develop inside battery limit and offsite estimates using Material Master, process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, etc.
- Translate conceptual information into estimate deliverables, stores, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Interfere into inspection of working progress and look after approvals with suppliers/customers.
- Customers invoicing preparation.

Skills

Education:
Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Material Management or equivalent, PM structure BS or MS in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.


Knowledge/Languages:
- Translate conceptual information into estimate deliverables.
- Site cost control, budget, forecasting, cost reporting Methods.
- interpret contract, manage financial risk and estimating and forecasting.
- Cost Accounting/Engineering.
- Microsoft Package ( advanced in Excel).


Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project cost control, forecasting, commercial management of engineering, procurement and construction works.
- Experience in using computer based project controls software.
- Discipline: Mechanical/Electrical or Construction / Construction Management.
