The Role:

With more than 15, 000 employees and 1, 500 stores globally, M.H. Alshaya W.L.L. Company is spearheading the expansion of more than 50 world-class leading retail brands and a hugely success Casual/Fine Dining Division which includes restaurant brands such as The Gaucho Grill, Brasserie De L'Etoile, Pizza Express, Pizza Rustica, Le Pain Quotidien, Asha's and are soon to launch the new Chinesse Bistro fine dining concept PF Changs.

To realise its highly ambitious and aggressive expansion plan, Alshaya is currently looking to recruit exceptional bartenders to serve drinks according to F Changs standards.

Based in Kuwait, the Bartender is responsible for meeting customer needs & for ensuring company standards within the Restaurant are met. The bartender ensures the set up, cleanup, maintenance & operation of the Bar.

Responsibilities:

The bartender ensures the bar area, tables & chairs are clean & laid out as per Company guidelines.
The bartender ensures front of house hygiene & ambience is as per Company guidelines, and that the back bar is fully stocked and well equipped for high traffic flow.
The bartender takes drink orders from patrons or waiting staff & prepare & serve drinks in accordance with standard recipes.
To meet & greet customers, offers drink menus, take orders correctly & prepare the drinks to brand standards.
The bartender ensures every customer leaves the Bar/Restaurant happy, ensures drinks are served in the correct order, to the correct standards of presentation, hygiene & temperature.

Skills

Good general education, Hotel & Catering qualifications desirable.
Minimum of 1 year in hotel dining or casual dining concept.
Knowledge of food handling skills and sanitation guidelines.
Must be pleasant, people oriented and organized.
