CHEMICAL SALES ENGINEER
JAIDAH GROUP

• Report to sales manager on a daily basis all intelligence & product sales activities,
• Be fully aware of all equipment being promoted by the company, not only in the assigned business centre. Keep current with specifications
• Capable of technical support with the given cost centre products and general engineering support to the sales team both internal and external when called upon. Keep abreast of latest technology, industry activity and competitors products.
• To evaluate all tenders and RFQ’s for non standard products and systems, recommend routes to success.
• Collate information and discuss with Managers any concerns prior to allow tendering to take place.
• Liaise with clients and provide sales quotations both verbal and written.
• Cultivate relationship with key customers, external associated networking.
• Expedite outstanding quotations & assist credit control in aged payments.
• Sales experience built around diverse products.
• Involvement for purchase of stock items, also prepare Sales Orders
• Develop and handle all technical sales issues, via principals.
• Coordinates with external technicians when required, especially on-site support
• Understand pricing policies and margins.
• Meet client targets minimum of 3 visits per day.
• Assist in exhibition set up and visit trade shows as required.

Skills

• Knowledge of the Oil & Gas markets is an advantage.
• Strong experience in Technical Sales (should be in Oil in Gas Industry with focus on chemicals)
• Experience and demonstrable successful track record of selling Oil and Gas products/equipment.
• An ability to analyze client requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
• Energy and drive.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• Good communication ability both verbally and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English is mandatory and good knowledge of Arabic would be a definite asset
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office
