Environment Manager- TPPL
Tetra Pak Pakistan Ltd.

Tetra Pak market companies drive environmental activities throughout the value chain of the beverage carton. The Environmental manager will be part of the environmental community in Tetra Pak’s GME cluster and is expected to actively share information and experiences with colleagues in other markets.

-To facilitate the collection, sorting and recycling of post-consumer cartons working closely with local municipalities, waste collectors and paper mills, providing them with technical and economic information, sharing experiences from other countries where cartons are recycled, conducting recycling trials with, and providing technical assistance to, suitable paper mills, and generally promoting carton recycling.

-To develop recycling plans, recommend recycling targets and ensure that targets are met.

-To engage with consumers, schools and with authorities in an efficient and winning manner regarding recycling activity.

-To actively follow, and engage in, the development of regulations and public policies on packaging and packaging waste and to liaise with stakeholders in industry and in the government to ensure a leading role for Tetra Pak.

Skills

- University level degree in Environmental Science/Technical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years experience from similar responsibilities in industry
- Result oriented
-Strong technical understanding with the ability to communicate

-Experience with implementing and operating ISO 1400
