Safety Officer
Ajial Education

The candidate should have sound practical experience and knowledge of the following actions:

• Applying the company's safety policies, regulations and programs, detects unsafe work practices and conditions and analyses accidents.

• Conducting inspections and surveys on all services carried out by the contractor according to pre-set schedule to ensure the company fire & safety regulation standards and HSE policies are applied. Identifying unsafe work practice, un-authorized action to company and contractor supervisors. Preparing 'Infringement Reports with recommended remedial actions and following up on corrective measures.

• Ensuring that contractor's personnel aware and apply the company's fire & safety regulations, standards and HSE policies.

• Investigating and analyzing cause of industrial and traffic accidents made by the contractor involving company assets, personnel and vehicle; submits reports with appropriate recommendation to the company.

• Responds to reported suspect EOD objects within the site.

Skills

Safety officer should possess a secondary education certificate and diploma in safety. A minimum of six (3) years in safety, Fluent in both spoken and written English. Experience should come from working with international oil companies. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
