Business Development Manager, New Expansion, New Territory
M.O. Gandour and Sons
Leads the expansion project to increase the company’s sales by penetrating new markets in the assigned territory while always seeking to maximize profitability.
Identifies new markets suitable for business expansion.
Screens, filters and appoints suitable distributors whom are able to cover the trade channels and ensure continuity.
Conducts market visits to understand the field operations and give guidance to the appointed distributors for improving distribution and coverage.
Responsible for product selection, setting targets and pricing while maximizing the company’s profit margins.
Responsible for the company’s receivables with the appointed distributors.
Understands the market dynamics and recommends tactical support mechanisms to develop the business.
Works closely with all related departments to ensure that his clients are well serviced.
Shares input with the Regional Manager and contributes in setting the regional business development plan & targets.
Skills
Age bracket : 27-32 years
Preferably male.
Presentable with pleasant character, team player, self player, self starter, high communications skills, solid managerial skills, problem solving & analytical skills, committed to results.
Fluency in Arabic & English (French is a plus).
High computer literacy.
3-5 years of experience mostly in the FMCG sector.
(Experience in the food domain is essential).
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position (exports : entailing the same requirements).
Good knowledge in distribution setups & logistics.
Well exposed to all types of trade channels.
Command in handling budgets & setting forecasts.
Has a track record in achieving targets/objectives.
Exposed to pricing models.
Education
University Graduate: Preferably Business Major . MBA is a plus
