Human Resources Head of Learning and Development
Lafarge
Work with Country HR to develop and manage an integrated talent pipeline for Lafarge Cement Saudi Arabia, covering:
On- boarding.
Development and retention.
Work closely with the Plant HR Manager on Training Need Assessment to develop the annual training & Development plan for the plant and translating this into actionable activities including internal/external training targets and agreeing action parties.
Ensure that on-boarding and initial development programs function efficiently for both technical and non-technical hires.
Manage accurate and timely progress tracking/reporting to senior management & introducing proper MIS for training management & tracking.
Trouble-shoot development issues and drive process improvement.
Supervise the work of the T&D team & provide them with coaching & direction.
Develop & manage relationships with training providers.
Work with and support business HR and Line to ensure implementation of robust career development process for existing and new staff.
Integrate Business Talent Review across Lafarge Cement Saudi Arabia to better understand the existing supply base and agree actions to strengthen talent management for the Business Unit.
Principal support to learning & development in the division, through:
Planning and organizing the L&D strategy & work program.
Leading specific activities in this work program.
Operationalizing L&D decisions & strategies
Tracking and measuring delivery across Lafarge Cement Saudi Arabia.
Lead all Lafarge Cement Saudi Arabia talent processes, including review to ensure continued efficiency and effectiveness against desired purpose. Coordination with the country HR teams. Preparation of the annual talent/senior succession review.
Steer the development and execution of talent related functionality & MIS across the business unit.
Skills
relevant Training experience in an Industrial context.
Saudi Arabian National is a must for Lafarge to comply with the local laws.
Ability to develop learning strategies.
Excellent facilitation skills.
Experience in Facilitating and creating interventions.
Proven record of project and process management skill.
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong influencing abilities across a range of levels/cultures.
Experience in managing or working in diverse, virtual teams.
Demonstrated record of delivering results.
Numerate with strong analytical ability.
Strategic thinker who is prepared to become “hands on” to ensure effective implementation.
Education
Bachelor's degree in HR/ Business Administration
