Line Maintenance/ Station Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Ground Handling Agency and Station Manager for availability, serviceability of required ground support equipment(GPU, Tow
Bar, Air Starter, etc…).
• Certify for return to service, as outlined in the Maintenance PPM, the
maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, airworthiness release(when Required) and the Required Inspection Items (RII) if any.
• If the station is provided with a sub Stores, station Engineer will be
responsible for the following :

i. Administration of the stores.
ii. Shelf - life of limited items/products.
iii. Calibrated of gauge Yes( pressure gauges,torque meters
, etc…).

• All functions related to arrival/departure times, telexes should be coordinated
With Station Manager (or his alternate).
• In case of Management decision to change equipment operated through the concerned station for which he is not properly rated, the station Engineer must be released from his function ns and replacement provided until he satisfies the maintenance Management through proper training qualifications &Authorizations.
• He must carry out any other assignments as directed from the Main Base byHis direct responsible.

Skills

Required Educational Level:

- Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical or
Aircraft Maintenance Diploma from aviation technical school.
-Valid JCAA A&P License or Repairman Certificate.
- Type release on at least on three aircraft type operated by RJ

Required Experience:

- He should be holding a lead Mechanic position.
- He should have seven (7) years aviation experience or five (5) years RJ
Experience from which one (1) year as a senior Mechanic.

Required Competencies:

- Good technical knowledge of aircraft mechanical, power plant and electrical Systems.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Computer skills.
- Communication skills and ability to administer people.
- Quality Oriented.
-He should be conversant in English language and fully aware of company's
Polices and procedures.
-He should be holder of Push back / Towing authorization for the type of
Aircraft operated through the station.
- He should be holder of ETOPS release if necessary.

The Job Location will be in Baghdad, Arbeel and Musel.
