Lawyer
Combined Group Contracting Company (CGC)

A leading Construction & Contracting Co in Kuwait looking for
a Lawyer with the following requirements :

• Analyze the probable outcome of claims, using experience and legal precedents.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of construction claims
• Represent the firm in court or before government agencies.
• Provide legal advice to the management
• Examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits.
• Study statutes, decisions, regulations, and ordinances of quasi-judicial bodies to determine ramifications for cases.
• Prepare and draft all legal documents and contracts and Joint Venture agreements.
• Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

Skills

• Experience in Construction & Contracting fields.
(Contracts & Joint Ventures) and any other legal matters
• Experience in the international law
• Experience in the gulf area
• Experience not less than 15 years in the fields of construction with contracting companies.
• Bachelor degree in law- graduation from universities of Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt or any other international universities
• Perfect knowledge of English and Arabic (reading, speaking, writing)
• Arab nationality preferable or arab nationality origins

The company is also executing several large roads and infrastructure maintenance projects in Kuwait.
In the construction sector, CGC is executing the new campus of he applied education university and is gearing up for a new project for the Kuwait National Guard. We also just finished and demobilized the construction of jabber City government housing project in addition to several other projects in various stages of bidding, execution or completion.
