Area Sales Manager

We are recruiting for an exciting position with a leading leading manufacturer of marine gearboxes with a worldwide sales & services network enabling them to optimally cater to all major markets. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for:
To promote products and any other product related to the business all the way through pre qualification, bidding and execution of contracts with end users, consultants and Shipyards.
To achieve the set sales targets and report on progress on monthly basis.
To increase business development activities all the way through identification of parties, selection of the best.
To increase awareness of Gear boxes in the area.
To network and liaise with buyers, engineers and department heads whose functions are in direct relation to the securing of opportunities.
To continuously look for areas of growth, submit business plans and recommend opportunities to MD.
Ensure customer’s satisfaction at all times.

Skills

To be considered for this opportunity, successful candidate should have following skill set:
Should be a Marine/Mechanical Sales Engineer.
Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of sales of marine equipment and machinery.
Capable of working independently with knowledge of preparing sales related computation and documentation.
Ability to travel throughout the Middle East and India.
Must have hold valid drivers licence.
