Senior Civil Design Engineer
Parsons International Limited

• Preparation of various stages of design, design reports, technical notes and calculations for water, irrigation, fire, wastewater and storm water networks.
• Assist in the preparation of contract documents including specifications and Bills of Quantities for tender purposes.
• Coordinate with the design team to ensure timely delivery of design tasks.
• Lead in the implementation of innovative design solutions using the latest industry standards considering quality, safety and sustainability.
• Supervise subordinates, providing guidance and mentorship, as necessary.
• Liaise with the other design teams on technical issues and with the commercial team on commercial issues, as necessary.
• Report on the progress to the Project Manager and Design Manager as necessary.

Skills

The candidate should have:

* Minimum 10 years experience in the detailed design of infrastructure projects, specifically water, irrigation, fire, wastewater and storm water networks. 3 years of which should be in the capacity of a Senior Engineer.
* Knowledge regarding requirements of the local authorities, e.g. ADSSC, ADM, etc.
* Degree in Civil Engineering. Should also be a member of a recognized Association of Engineers.
* Regional experience is preferred.
