Pax Services & Ramp Manager - New Venture / Middle East
Emirates Airline & Group

Position:
Reporting to the General Manager, the role will manage and control both passenger services and ramp activities(check-in, boarding, transfer desk, loading and unloading of all passenger and cargo aircraft) to achieve consistent quality service, in compliance with agreed Service Standards & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Ensure the real time deployment of frontline staff to designated areas and that they adhere to Safety Policy and Security Standards of the company.

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years experience in an Airline or Ground Handling agency covering areas such as Passenger, Baggage, Ramp Operations Services, Cargo & Mail Services, Technical Services and Communications of which 5 years should have been in a management capacity.

Possess a drive and determination to deliver unparalleled standards of service within a difficult operating environment
Fluency in both written and spoken English are essential
Must have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of ground handling operations (Passenger Services, Ramp and Baggage Services, Flight Dispatch and Load Control, Departure Control Services)
Must possess excellent people management skills, with highly effective communication and negotiation skills
Previous experience / awareness of Middle East markets in the airline/cargo industry.
