Our client, is a leading business development and investment company based in Abu Dhabi is seeking to recruit Medical TechnologistUnder the direction of the appropriate supervisory personnel, performs the following-Laboratory specimen processing-Perform routine and complex tests in assigned areas-Instrument QAQC, validations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting-Test result monitoring and verification-Interact with internal (Medical Director, Technical Director, etc) and external customers on technical mattersResponsibilitiesGeneral knowledge of advanced clinical laboratory practicesUnderstanding and following established departmental Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs)Maintaining instrumentation according to manufacturers guidelinesExercising independent judgment with minimal supervisionAbility to operate multiple instrument platforms in a high volume fast paced environment

Skills

Basic Qualificationsa) BSc in Medical Technology or clinical laboratory science or an equivalent qualification requiring NLT 3 years training course, ORb) Graduate of an accredited (MLT) program leading to registration with ASCPCSMLS or equivalentRequires current national licenseExperiencea) NLT 2 years clinical experience in a clinical laboratory environmentORb)NLT 4 years clinical experience in a clinical laboratory environment
