The Designer provides kitchen design assistance to guests and completes the design and sale of remodeling projects that meet and exceed the guests’ needs.

Accountability (this person is held accountable for):
-Design assistance, product selection, project design, guest satisfaction,
-Be the Single-Point-of-Contact for the guest from retainer collection until the sale is complete.
--Provide in-home and in-store design assistance.
-Provides solutions with the highest levels of creativitly and design that meet the guest's needs.
-Understand guests' objectives (needs, desires and budgetary limits) and introduce them to products that will best meet their objectives.
-Schedule the initial guest home visit, and coordinate this with the assigned project manager.
-Work as a team with the project manager to verify "as is" measurements and develop scope of work.
-Work as a team with the guest and project manager to establish a comprehensive project budjet.
-Provide a clean, accurate and timely job design and product specifications to the assigned design technician.
-Work with guest and design technician to finalize project design.
-Verify the final design, materials list and cost of product, and installation services with the project manager and design technician. -Works on the sales floor serving guest as scheduled.
-Takes initiative for self-development to increase product, service and competitor kwowledge.
-Actively participates in competitive shopping process.
-Responsible for sales floor coverage as assigned by the design manager.
-Works closely as a team with sales, design and installation departments.
-Adheres to the great indoors code of ethics.
-Always represents the great indoors by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
-Exhibits a sense of ownership and empowerment.
